Ministerial Background
Kimberly Snider taught secondary and elementary school in the United States until her family was commissioned as Assemblies of God missionaries in 1986. After moving to the Philippines, she taught two years at Faith Academy, an MK school in the Philippines, and then began to work at Asia Pacific Media Ministries. She developed two radio programs, Hope for the Family and Moments for Mothers, which were aired daily in the the Philippines. Additionally she has written and produced discipleship materials, and conducted workshops on radio scripting and magazine writing. She has developed two ongoing publications for the Philippines, MOMS and MIP. She is still director of print publications at Asia Pacific Media Ministries.
Areas of Research Interest, Writings and Teaching
Kimberly has written two books for the Filipino Audience: Moments for Mothers, and Welcoming Jesus into Your House.  She has also edited a book of devotionals for young professional Filipinos entitled Recharge. Kim's dissertation, A Grounded Theory of Behavior Transformation among Filipino Women was published by William Cary Library as part of their dissertation series in 2011. "She has a forthcoming article in EMQ 2013 entitled "6 Things to Know Before You Go."
Kim&'s passion is to discover the best medium for the Gospel presentation to diverse people groups. This has led her into research on educational theories of transformation, experiential learning, learning styles, cross cultural communication and cultural anthropology.
Family and Personal Interests
Kim is married to Bill, and they raised their two sons in the Philippines. They have 4 grandchildren, all living in the United States.
