June 1991 - January 1994: Part-time (June 1991 - March 1992) and full-time (April 1992 - January 1994) instructor (English and Japanese) and curriculum development advisor at Bi-Lingual, Co. Ltd., a private language institute headquartered in Tokyo, Japan. Taught junior-high through elderly students in one-to-one and classroom settings. Edited several textbooks and teaching materials and conducted various seminars.
April 1996 - March 1998: Part-time instructor of the Japanese Language Teacher Training Program at ECC Language Institute, a private language institute headquartered in Tokyo, Japan. Taught Introduction to Linguistics, Introduction to Japanese Linguistics, Introduction to Language Pedagogy, and Seminar of Japanese Language Teaching.
October 1997 - December 1999: Full-time freelance translator of Christian literature and documents between English and Japanese, and part-time reporter for The Revival Times, a Japanese weekly Pentecostal/charismatic newspaper.
June 2001 - March 2004: Language assistant at Asia Pacific Theological Seminary, Baguio City, Philippines. Taught Greek 1 and 2 (elementary) (2001, 2002, 2003), Greek 3 (intermediate) (2003, 2004), and Greek 4 (Exegesis of the First Thessalonians) (2004) under the supervision of Dr. Galen Hertweck.
June 2004 - : In the Faculty Development Program of Asia Pacific Theological Seminary. Taught Greek 1 and 2 (2004) under the supervision of Dr. Galen Hertweck. Taught Greek 3 (2006) and Greek 1 and 2 (2006) under the supervision of Dr. Roli dela Cruz.
November 2003 - :
March 2005: Missionary trainee of the Assemblies of God of Japan. Involved in assisting church planting work in Baguio City and various areas of northern Luzon, Philippines.
April 2005 - : Licensed missionary of the Assemblies of God of Japan. Continuing to the said work above while teaching at Asia Pacific Theological Seminary.
January 2006 - January 2007: Assistant to Dr. Roli dela Cruz, the Director for Student Life, Asia Pacific Theological Seminary.

1. Descriptive analysis of Hellenistic Greek in the framework of modern linguistics, especially its grammar in the framework of Construction Grammar.
2. Reading education of theological English and biblical Greek to seminary students.
3. Descriptive analysis of languages of northern Luzon, especially Ilokano and Southern Kankanaey.
