Bachelor of Arts in Ministry

The Bachelor of Arts in Ministry in Mandarin is a 120-credit degree. It is designed to provide formal biblical, theological and ministerial training for those who are called to enter full time ministry.

Graduate Certificate

Designed with the layperson in mind, these programs are formed for individuals with non-ministry degrees to further train their ministerial skills enhancing their services to their churches.

Graduate Concentration

Graduate concentration certificates are offered in several subject areas. These graduate certificates require 15 credits and can be pursued as an individual academic award or as a concentration in a degree program.

The Master of Arts in Intercultural Studies is a 36-credit graduate degree designed to enable individuals in the Asia Pacific region to develop a balanced missions philosophy for effective cross-cultural missionary service, and leadership.

The Master of Arts in Intercultural Studies-Islamic Studies Concentration is a 48-credit graduate degree designed to enable individuals in the Asia Pacific region to develop a balanced missions philosophy for effective missions in Islamic regions.

Intercultural Education

The Master of Arts in Intercultural Education is a 36-credit graduate degree. This degree empowers students to deepen their theological knowledge and develop excellent teaching skills and methodologies for use within diverse cultural settings.

Master of Arts in Theology

The Master of Arts in Theology is a 48-credit graduate degree designed to provide advanced training in theological and biblical studies. This program is especially valuable for Bible school teachers, administrators, and those who wish to go on to doctoral studies.

The Master of Arts in Ministry is a 36-credit graduate degree. It is designed to provide advanced training for those called to ministry. It may also be of value for Bible school teachers who wish to specialize in the practical ministry area.

Master of Divinity

The Master of Divinity program provides advanced knowledge and training in theological and ministerial studies. It is designed as a “professional” degree for baccalaureate graduates who desire a more thorough biblical education at the graduate level.

The Master of Theology (M.Th.) is a graduate level program designed to provide quality education and training. The program aims to prepare potential scholars and qualified Christian workers for teaching positions, pursing higher level studies, and for engaging in reflective research, particularly in the student’s own context.

Doctor of Ministry

The Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) program is intended for persons who are actively engaged in full-time Christian ministry. The main purpose is to enhance the participant’s personal growth towards maturity and professional competence in the practice of ministry. The program focuses on issues facing Pentecostal & Charismatic ministries in Asia today.

Doctor of Philosophy

The PhD is a graduate level program designed to provide quality education and training in interest areas of the candidate’s current ministry or future ministry goals. The program aims to enhance the candidate’s personal growth toward maturity and professional competence in the practice of ministry.

Missionary Training Institute

This six-week program is offered from April to May and is intended to train Asians for missionary ministry. The program combines classroom instruction and hands-on practical experiences. The multi-cultural make-up of the student body enhances the cross-cultural aspect of the training.

China Leaders and Workers Training Program (CLWTP)

This program is APTS’ partnership with the Chinese Church that features 3 weeks of intensive training to develop leadership for China. The programs allows 20 student and 70 leaders to study at APTS under a special scholarship.
IIS Class

IIS

Conducted for six weeks each year from April through May in cooperation with Global Initiatives and the Center for Ministry to Muslims (CMM) in the USA. Instructors are outstanding Islamic scholars and missionaries from around the world.

Institue of Church Action on Poverty Studies (ICAPS)

The Institute of Church Action on Poverty Studies is a one-week intensive training that empowers community development workers, NGOs, and church approach of ministry toward the transformation of individual and communities.

The goal of AIMM is to raise our vision, to learn practical 21st-century techniques to expand your ministry and to raise up a new generation of workers who will tell His story with excellence.
