He was appointed Missionary with Assemblies of God World Missions (USA) since 1992 and has full professional proficiency in Tagalog, the national language of the Philippines. He has also published a number of articles in peer-reviewed and non-peer reviewed journals and chapters in books. Other Ministry Responsibilities at APTS He served as the coordinator of the Master of Theology Program from 2013-19 and served on the Post Graduate committee that oversees the master of theology, doctor of ministry and PhD programs at APTS. He particularly enjoys being a research mentor for some of the post-grad students from 2013-22. He also directed the Missionary Training Institute from 2017-19. Ministry Outside of APTS He served from February, 2017 to June, 2020, on the leadership team, along with his wife, Debbie, of a local international church. He also occasionally preaches or does occasional seminars in local churches and ministers’ meetings. Family and Personal Interests Dave has been married to Debbie Langley Johnson since July 26, 1997. Apart from the ministry he enjoys spending time with Debbie, reading, shooting baskets, walking, and playing football (soccer) with the guys on campus and off.
