About Faculty
Rev. Dr. William Toh has joined the faculty since late 2019. He is a Singapore AG ordained minister and has over 25 years of pastoral experience (English ministry, Youth ministry, Chinese Ministry). He was also active in teaching ministry, overseas church consultation and training during his 25 years serving as a pastor. Rev. Dr. Toh graduated with Master of Art in Theological Studies at Singapore Bible College and Doctor of Pentecostal/Charismatic Ministries at Asia Pacific Theological Seminary. His research paper focuses on leadership and followership development for emerging Chinese leaders. He has published an article on “Issues Arising from Weak Ecclesiological Concepts in the Modern-Day Pentecostal Church” in Asian Journal of Pentecostal Studies. Thus far, Rev. Dr. Toh has taught Subordinate Leadership (Chinese), Introduction of Theology (Chinese), Systematic Theology 1 and 2 (Chinese), Pentecostal Theology (Chinese), Pneumatology (English), Foundations for Leadership and Management (English and Chinese) in APTS and Overseas seminaries. Rev. Dr. Toh’s interest area of research and writing is on Leadership and Followership, Church Growth, Effective Preaching, Pentecostalism and Theology. His personal interests are cooking, baking, tennis, table tennis, art, nature walk and travelling. Rev. Dr. Toh is married to Tina and they have three children.
