About Center

About Center

As early as 1994, at the initiative of then APTS President, Dr. William Menzies, the administration and faculty began to discuss the concept of the center. The center was built in 2000-2001 and was called the Asia Pacific Center for the Advancement of Leadership (APCALM). At 2004, the name was changed to Global Missions Center (GMC).

GMC works in partnership with Asia Pacific churches, mission agencies, and international ministries to train, develop, and empower missionaries and church leaders for effective 21st century ministry. GMC exists primarily to serve the Assemblies of God churches and ministries of the region by developing and facilitating programs for training missionaries and church leaders for more effective ministry.
